THE TIMELINE.
2012

Establishment of Kynetic by Lindon Cvitanovic and Alan Seymour

Lindon and Alan are both long term Canberrans with a broad range of experiences across Government, commercial, industrial and residential sectors. Having worked for a range of Tier 1 and 2 contractors, they established Kynetic in a challenging market with the view that this would drive them to find innovative ways to provide services to our valued clients.

2013

Secured a Management Services role with Buildcorp to complete a $1M within 2 Consitution Ave, Canberra City owned by ISPT.

This project provided Kynetic their first contract and established mutually successful relationship with Buildcorp Interiors.

Questacon engaged Kynetic to refurbish the Foyer Amenities at Questacon.

Kynetics first lump sum tender success. The project was completed with the minimum of disruption to the ongoing success of Questacon.

Achieved Certification of Kynetic systems to AS4801, ISO 9001 and 14001

Following on from the first project, Kynetic then assisted Buildcorp to secure the next phase, the $12M base builiding refurbishment at 2 Constitution Ave, Canberra City

Kynetic then provided the full construction team from Project Manager through to the Site Supervisory team, including a Services Manager. Buildcorp held the head contract and Kynetic integrated into their business processes to provide the service required to complete the project.

2014

Obtained ACT Government Project Management Pre-Qualification

Questacon engaged Kynetic to refurbish and extend ground floor office space, along with a second set of ground floor amenities.

This represented Kynetics second ‘repeat client’ and demonstrated our ability to understand and achieve client goals.

Questacon engaged Kynetic for multiple smaller projects

Projects roles continued to unfold including: Construction of a ‘Chroma Key Wall’ in the Questacon TV studio, repairs to the foyer ceiling, display cabinet in the foyer, replacement of corridor ceilings, new¬†screen to the foyer Security Desk.

Gallery 3 refurbishment of Questacon

Kynetic were engaged to manage the refurbishment of Gallery 3 at Questacon (the Earth Quake House and Lightening Cage Gallery)

Australian Government Solicitors Fitout, 4 National Circuit, Barton. Kynetic were engaged by Schiavello Constructions to provide construction and security advice for the Project team.

Kynetic were able to provide sound guidance and advice based on the individual roles of its Directors in the AFP Head Quarters fitout at the EBB.

4 National Circuit atrium stair linking level 4 and level 5

Schiavello were focused on the fitout works for AGS and engaged Kynetic to manage the procurement and construction of this stair suspended in the atrium. Managing the safety and access issues proved challenging given the existence of horizontal fire curtains at lower levels in the atrium.

Snedden Hall Gallop Deakin Office, fitout modifications

Kynetic carried out several small projects for Snedden Hall Gallop at their office in Deakin, maintaining their normal daily functions throughout the process.

Customs Media Centre Fitout, 2 Constitution Ave.

Kynetic managed the fast-tracked fitout of the media centre at 2 Constitution Ave. The works were completed within 4 weeks from the first discussions with Buildcorp/Kynetic.

Customs Secure Area, water damage repairs.

Following the success of the media centre, Kynetic/Buildcorp were called on to remediate a secure office area for Customs within 2 Constitution Ave. From the initial water damage to the re-occupation of the space was just over 3 weeks, with $300K worth of work completed.

2015

Obtained ACT Government pre-qualification for Construction and Demolition works up to $2M.

ACTEW Googong Water Treatment Plant

Kynetic are constructing a new Water Treatment building within the ACTEW Googong Water Treatment Plant, evidencing the steady growth of projects within the Kynetic portfolio.

Hellenic Club Fire Systems Compliance Upgrade

JGS Property and the Hellenic Club have engaged Kynetic to provide the construction services to upgrade various fire compliance issues, without disrupting the clubs functions or patrons.

Further amenities refurbishment at Questacon

Kynetic brought its knowledge from previous phases to provide solutions to Questacon in a tender environment, allowing it to secure another phase of works with a valued client.
